PROGRAM INTRODUCTION:

 

The course will focus on theory and application of marketing, management, budgeting, customer service and other business aspects to programming a club or sport complex as a viable community or commercial recreation venue. Partnerships between non profit/government or commercial agencies to create public golf courses, racquet facilities, multiplexes, or recreational related activities in the resorts and sport tourism sector will be studied.
Programming for tournaments, sports tourism, and sponsorships of facilities will be incorporated.

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

 

By the complementary of this course the participant will learn how to design recreation programs and enhance current ones and will also learn how to organize the updates and apply them.
