PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

This course will provide participants with tools to identify, prioritize, and remedy wasted energy primarily in gas processing facilities, with an emphasis on inefficient and underutilized compressors, engines, refrigerant plants, cooling systems, turbines, and steam plants. The session will benefit field operations personnel with the ongoing optimization of existing systems, and will assist project engineers and technologists with cost-benefit analyses relating to capital and operating costs for capital budgets along with the selection of electric versus gas driven equipment. The course is designed for engineers, technologists, and operations personnel involved in the design or operation of oil and gas processing plants.
